iPhone / iOS

A. Zoom App Settings

• Open Zoom app → tap your profile picture (top left) → settings → Notifications and sounds
• Under Notify Me About These Messages, choose All messages.
• Turn on Show message preview.
• Under When to notify me of messages, Enable Always, even if I am active on desktop.
  
   

B. iOS System Settings

• Go to Settings → Notifications → Zoom.
  • Allow Notifications ON.
  • Enable Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners.
  • Enable Sounds and Badge App Icon.
     

Android

A. Zoom App Settings

• Open Zoom app → tap your profile picture (top left) → settings → Notifications and sounds
• Under Notify Me About These Messages, choose All messages.
• Turn on Show message preview.
• Under When to notify me of messages, Enable Always, even if I am active on desktop.
  
   

B. Android System Settings

• Go to Settings → Apps → Zoom → Notifications.
  • Turn all notification categories ON (Chat, Mentions, Group Chats).
  • Set importance to High or Urgent.
  • Enable sound and vibration.
• In Lock Screen settings, show notifications and previews.
   

Windows Computer

A. Zoom Desktop Settings

• Open Zoom → Click your profile picture (top right) → Settings → Notifications and sounds.
• Under Desktop Notifications:
  • Notification preferences
    • Enable Show message preview for chat notifications
  • Send Desktop notifications for:
    • Enable new chat messages and select All messages.

B. Windows System Settings

• Open Settings → System → Notifications.
  • Ensure Zoom is ON.
  • Enable banners and Action Center alerts.
  • Turn on Play a sound when a notification arrives.

macOS

A. Zoom Desktop Settings

• Open Zoom → Click your profile picture (top right) → Settings → Notifications and sounds.
• Under Desktop Notifications:
  • Notification preferences
    • Enable Show message preview for chat notifications
  • Send Desktop notifications for:
    • Enable new chat messages and select All messages.

B. macOS System Settings

• Go to System Settings → Notifications → Zoom.
  • Allow Notifications ON.
  • Choose Banners (Appears on screen, then goes away automatically) or Alerts (stays on screen until dismissed) style.
  • Enable show in notification center
  • Enable Badge Application Icon.
  • Enable play sound for notification
