Send the details that help us help you

  1. Describe the goal and the problem. Include the app or service and the exact error message, if there is one.
  2. Identify the device and location when relevant. Include the computer or device type and the room or building for a campus issue.
  3. Explain the impact. Tell us when it started, whether others are affected, and any class or work deadline.
  4. List what you already tried. A screenshot can help; crop or cover unrelated personal or confidential information first.

Keep secrets out of your request. Do not include passwords, one-time sign-in codes, recovery codes, private keys, or other credentials.

Track a request and send an update

Reply to the ticket email to keep the conversation together. Include new details or let us know when the issue is resolved, rather than opening another request for the same problem.

You can also open My requests and sign in to view requests associated with your account. If you cannot sign in, continue through the ticket email and tell the team about the access problem.
